Dr. Tom Browder grew up in the quiet countryside of rural Davie County in Advance. He went to Shady Grove Elementary and then graduated from Davie County High School. From there he went to Wake Forest University where he graduated in 1987. Dr. Browder received his dental education at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. After graduating from UNC, Dr. Browder practiced dentistry in Taylorsville, NC for nine years. In February of 2006, he opened his practice in Advance.
Dr. Browder maintains memberships in most every major dental organization including the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society, as well as local dental societies. He is an alumnus of The Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida where he has completed their entire post-graduate dental continuum.
Dr. Browder's commitment to dentistry runs very deep. He is extremely active with The UNC School of Dentistry where he is an Adjunct Professor with the Department of Operative Dentistry. In addition to his teaching duties at UNC, Dr. Browder also works closely with The Dental Foundation of North Carolina. That organization, working in conjunction with The UNC Dental School, provides valuable financial support to deserving dental students at UNC. In 2001, Dr. Browder and his wife established The James B. Hancock Memorial Scholarship to honor their good friend and mentor who had recently passed away. That scholarship now provides thousands of dollars each year to a dental student at UNC.

Dr. Leslie Lundquist
Dr. Leslie Lundquist joined our practice in 2010 to help assist us when our schedule was extremely busy or if Dr. Browder needed to be away from the office. Because of the overwhelmingly positive feedback that we received from patients, we were delighted when she accepted our offer to become a permanent member of our team. She now has regular office hours with us in addition to pitching in whenever we need a little extra assistance.
Dr. Lundquist was raised in Hickory Hills, Illinois and received her undergraduate and dental degrees from the University of Iowa. She practiced there until 1988 when she and her family relocated to Winston-Salem. Since that time, she has kept quite busy in dentistry. She had her own very successful private practice until 2007. She was also the Department Chair of GTCC’s dental hygiene and dental assisting programs and currently works one day per week at FTCC with their hygiene and assisting programs.
Dr. Lundquist and her husband, David have three children and also one granddaughter, Georgianna (GiGi), who knows how to pull all the right strings. "It has been a real pleasure having Dr. Lundquist around. She has a great chairside demeanor and a very calming spirit about her. I am very confident in her capabilities as a dentist and our entire team loves having her here," stated Dr. Browder. He added, "We know all our patients are in great hands when they are under her care."
